My story

My name is Mihaela Jagrić. After obtaining my PhD in molecular biology from Faculty of Science in Zagreb, I gained valuable experience in Germany, working  in clinical laboratories and industry.

But „once a scientist, always a scientist“…

I am currently employed as a molecular biologist in a molecular diagnostics laboratory at Department of Pathology and Forensic Medicine at Clinical hospital Osijek (Croatia), where I perform tumor analyses primarily using next-generation sequencing method (NGS), a field in which I continuously pursue further education and training.

At the same time, I want to stay informed about scientific topics, to read and research about the latest advances in science and healthcare. When it comes to health, advances in scientific research, timely and accurate diagnostics, and the choice of the right therapies for patients are life-saving. I am therefore particularly involved in the fields of cancer biology, molecular diagnostics in oncology and precision medicine.

Hello! I wish you a warm welcome to my website.

Today, we live in a time when advances in new technologies give us easier access to information than ever before. But not all available information is true, correct, or interpreted in the right and unbiased way. The source of information is also important, and so are credibility and correct interpretation.

Here, medical writing plays a key role in delivering accurate, evidence-based information to various audiences-aligned with the latest advances in medicine and science, and tailored to their level of understanding.

The inspiration behind the name

My vision is to make complex ideas and concepts from both healthcare and science understandable and available to everyone, regardless of their educational level or age. Therefore, I aim to adapt and deliver medical and scientific content to various audiences such as scientists, healthcare professionals, patients, students, and industry.

The name „OmniaComm“ was derived from the Latin word “omnia” and the abbreviation “comm” for communication to reflect connection, the universality of communication, and access to credible information for everyone.
